Registration Information

MICHAEL PHAIR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
For the 2026 - 2027 school year, Michael Phair School is full in planned classes in Grades 7 to 9 in both the Cogito program and the regular program. We will no longer be accepting students in the Cogito program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students in Grades 7 to 9 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into Michael Phair School’s attendance area and only if David Thomas King School's grade is also full, from their attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
Principal's Message
I am honored and excited to join Michael Phair School as the Principal. I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, families, and the broader Lewis Estates community, while building on the strong foundation that has already been established.
Throughout my career as an educator and school leader, I have come to believe that strong relationships and a sense of belonging are foundational to student success. I also believe in setting high expectations and creating learning environments where students are supported and challenged to grow academically, socially, and personally. Michael Phair’s whole-child approach aligns closely with my belief that when students feel safe, known, engaged, and supported, they are better positioned to learn and achieve.
Strong schools are also built through partnership. Student voice matters, families are important partners in education, and the collective strengths of our staff and community help create meaningful opportunities for students. I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside the Michael Phair community as we continue to build a school where every student can experience success and reach their potential.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Principal of Michael Phair School and look forward to the journey ahead.
